Grannie just returned from a whirlwind tour in Southern Vermont. She read her books to students at the North Bennington School, Southshire, and Shaftbury Elementary. You can read some of the rave reviews posted by some of the students…so sweet!  Grannie also read her books at an author’s event at the Bennington Free Library. Please ask your local bookstore to stock The Silas Series! And Silas and Opal Meet is moving along nicely!

I discovered The Silas Series while attending a benefit craft show for Justice for Dogs at the Peoples Academy gym this November. I knew the author Grannie Snow from high school days. The enthusiasm over the books by the author and others purchasing the books was notable. The text and message are matched only by the eye-catching and colorful illustrations. After reading books one and two, I’m looking forward to the next chapter of the cats’ adventures with Grannie Snow!
