My grandkids were so excited to get the “Silas Gets a Sister” book. They have really enjoyed having their mother read both of the Silas series books. Can’t wait for the next one! Great writing and illustrations. A big thank you to Gail Brown Bartha for getting the books for me to give to the kids.
We are so glad that Grannie Snow contacted us about setting up a fundraising event featuring her book Big Ole Striped Silas. The book is GREAT!!! It was enjoyed by everyone of all ages who attended the book reading and signing.
I commented on Grannie Snow’s book when it was first published. Of course, I commented on how I loved the book, the story and the illustrations! Since then, I have given this book as a gift to friends ranging in age from 3 to 83, from Vermont to Massachusetts to California. All recipients were so delighted with the book! Anyone who has or has had a pet (of any kind) will love Silas!
